The Committee on the Judiciary moves to amend the bill on page four, section four, line twelve, by striking out subsection (c) in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection (c), to read as follows:

“(c) The State Fire Marshall shall require the municipality, county, fair association, amusement park and other organizations to give written notice to the local police and fire authorities five days prior to the display.”;

            On page six, section six, line four, by striking out the words “two percent” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “one-third”;

            On page six, section six, line six, by striking out the words “two percent” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “one-third”;

            On page six, section seven, line one, following the word “rules” by inserting a comma and the words “including emergency rules” followed by a comma;

            On page six, section seven, line one, by striking out the words “for legislative approval”;

            And,

            On page six, section seven, after line sixteen, by inserting a new subsection (b) to read as follows:

            “(b) In recognition of the promulgation of an emergency rule is necessary to preserve the

immediate safety of the public from harm which could be caused by the unsafe use of fireworks.”
